We 've reached 10,000 doors

I've learned what matters to voters in thousands of personal conversations over the past two years: a quality education for our kids, housing that we can afford, and efficient transportation to get us to and from work. Every door we knock on gets me closer to being your voice in Salem, where we can stand up for what matter most.

We are knocking on doors and making phone calls every day, reaching out to over 1,000 voters each week. Our goal is to knock on 10,000 more doors between September 1st and November 1st.

Supreme Court has spoken

Progressive champions in the House and the Senate are going on the offensive with the Women’s Health Protection Act. The bill, if passed, would protect a woman's right to decide for herself whether to continue or end a pregnancy, regardless of where she lives.

A tidbit from Our Oregon's Daily Clips 9-2-16:

"The opposition to Measure 97 has reported another slew of big donations from big corporations. The biggest contribution came from Albertsons, which has now contributed $500,000 to the opposition campaign. It’s not the first time Albertsons has interfered in Oregon elections — just a few months ago, the grocery giant contributed millions of dollars to a now-defunct liquor privatization bid.
